Dalma

Atelier Dalma designs and shapes lampshades and pendant lights by hand, between Paris and Burgundy. Each piece begins with a carefully chosen fabric, cotton, linen or silk, which is then pleated, gathered or stretched, and finally sewn by hand following the gestures of traditional craftsmanship.

The Atelier creates bespoke pieces and small series: each lampshade is made to order.

Dalma speaks as much to architects in search of unique lighting with character as to private clients looking for a singular creation. Pieces with clean, sculptural lines, dressed in refined fabrics, that warm an interior with their textures and their light.

A light fitting can, on its own, become the centrepiece of a space.
